Great video thanks, I have picked a pound of what I thought were sloe, but watching your video it looks like I have bullace. There were no noticeable thorns on the bush / tree and the fruit (about 15mm across) was in clumps along the branches. I was intending to make sloe gin, will the bullaces be okay or should I use vodka? Comments appreciated thank you.

I have a tree that has small yellow fruit, about the size of a bullace, with a small stone and smells like plum with yellow flesh, the fruit was dropping in early August, it's growing wild nearby, wondering what this is? Thanks
